Wrestler Silver King bites the dust amid Camden Roundhouse session

An expert wrestler and entertainer has passed on in the wake of crumbling amid a session in London.

The 51-year-old was performing at the Roundhouse in Camden when he tumbled to the canvas.

A kindred Mexican wrestler paid tribute to his "incredible adversary", saying: "He went as he needed: battling!"

El Hijo del Santo, otherwise known as Jorge Rodriguez, tweeted his "profound lament" at the passing of his "accomplice in such a large number of fights".

Barron had been amidst a match at the Greatest Show of Lucha Libre occasion on Saturday. Reports in Mexican media recommend he may have endured a heart assault.

Roberto Carrera Maldonado, who went to the battle, said it at first resembled his breakdown was a piece of the show.

"It had a feeling that it was organized," he told the BBC. "Clearly it was very ordinary in the battle."

However, the wrestler remained on the floor in spite of the arbitrator's endeavors to restore him. Film posted online demonstrates the ref and a few other men going to his guide after he fallen.

"We all were truly stunned - it wasn't clear what was occurring," Mr Carrera said. "I had the impression they didn't have a clue what to do."

Mr Carrera said another contender was squeezing Barron's chest, and added that it was by all accounts quite a while after the wrestler fallen before paramedics arrived.

The show was at first stopped, yet an amplifier declaration later requested that the group of onlookers leave.

Emergency vehicle doctors arrived five minutes in the wake of being called at 22:21 BST, London Ambulance Service stated, including: "Tragically an individual kicked the bucket at the scene."

The Roundhouse affirmed there had been an "episode" amid the show however said it was unfit to remark further.

It later tweeted its sympathies, saying: "The previous evening Silver King tragically lost his life amid an occasion at the Roundhouse.

"At this stage the subtleties are as yet being examined so we don't have more data we can share."

Lucha Libre highlights conceal contenders, or Luchadors, confronting each other in aerobatic, arranged fights.

Barron experienced childhood in a Mexican wrestling family and his dad was a mainstream lucha libre warrior.

As Silver King, Barron found overall achievement, showing up in the USA's World Championship Wrestling (WCW) from 1997 to 2000.

In 2005, he featured as the reprobate Ramses in Hollywood parody Nacho Libre close by Jack Black.

He repeated his job as the "malicious Ramses" amid Saturday night's presentation.

Tributes have overwhelmed in from the wrestling scene, with US organization WWE among those grieving the star. 

Previous World Championship Wrestling (WCW) president Eric Bischoff said he was "disheartened to catch wind of the death of Silver King".

"Like such a large number of the incomparable Luchadores that helped Americans acknowledge Lucha Libre and make Nitro [a WCW lead show] the achievement it was, he will be remembered fondly," he included.
